We crafted a Barleywine with lots of dark, chocolaty malts, then aged it for a full 11 months in Bourbon Barrels. Then rebarreled it into Rye whiskey barrels for extended aging. The result is a spectacular symphony of cocoa, whiskey, toffee, and dark fruit flavors. Aromas of freshly roasted coffee, rich dark chocolate, and a wave of Bourbon warmth rise from the inky black pour. Take a sip, and indulge in wave after wave of creamy mocha, candied dates, and smooth vanilla. A hint of oaky whiskey lingers on the finish... until, of course, you wash it away with the next sip and indulge all over again. Double barrel-aged. 11 months in Bourbon, blended, then finished in Rye Whiskey.
