I’ve recently made the decision to cut back on my alcohol consumption. Not eliminate entirely, just cut down. I love the Black Butte Porter and I have it in my frig. The n/a version stands shoulder to shoulder with the full alcohol version and I love both of them and the n/a allows me to enjoy my BB Porter without the calories or alcohol. Cut back on alcohol for a number of reasons and while I still enjoy regular BBP, the non alcohol version is a very impressive. It’s been my favorite beer since it was introduced in the late 80s and into the 90s when I worked in Redmond and would frequent the original brew pub in Bend. Just sent a six of the non alcohol to my good friend who can’t do alcohol due to cancer treatments. I think he’ll be impressed and will bring hopefully being back some good memories.

I have tested almost 2 dozen nonalcoholic beers, this black Butte Porter is the best of all I have tasted, and most exactly resembles the alcoholic version. If you like a Porter, Stout, or Scottish ale, black Butte Porter is the non-alcoholic beer for you!

I've been sampling lots of NA beers for a while now. I've been drinking craft beer for 15 years or so. I am a stout guy and this is the best dark NA beer I've found. I put it on subscription.
I quit drinking alcohol for personal reasons and this fills the dark beer gap completely. Excellent beer that stands shoulder to shoulder to its full alcohol brother.
