The outcome of our time spent perfecting our non-alc craft has resulted in NA beers that retain the sensory elements we want in a beer like flavors, aromas, mouthfeel, head retention, and appearance. Our non-alcs come so close to tasting like a beer with alcohol that sometimes our sensory panel (a fancy term for beer experts that taste beer for quality control – fun, right?) has been tricked!
You are probably wondering, “how do they do it?” When we began our research and development over five years ago it became clear to us that the technologies in broad use to produce non-alcoholic beer all led to certain degrees of sacrifice on sensory experience of the final product. We didn’t want to accept sacrifice in the beer drinking experience and sought a better way. So, in 2024, we installed Sustainable Beverage Technologies (SBT) patented BrewVo® technology along with the necessary end-to-end technical capabilities which enable us to gently remove alcohol from the beer while preserving the sensory elements that contribute to a full-fidelity craft beer experience. This equipment, in combination with our own proprietary process that is rooted in decades of craft brewing experience, ensures that our non-alcoholic products offer an excellent craft beer experience without the alcohol. We also installed a 65,000-pound tunnel pasteurizer (through the roof, during a snowstorm) which is a necessary step to ensuring the safety and quality of our NA beers.
