It’s 2:00 pm on a Thursday afternoon and you’re ready for the workday to be over. You open up your phone and start clicking through apps.
In a world where social media is at its peak and everyone seems to be an explorer, you don't have look very far to find yourself scrolling through someone else’s highlight reel of waterfalls and canyons. It's not hard to understand why this type of life could feel out of reach for someone with a full-time job and full-time responsibilities. It’s easy to fall into the mindset of “that could never be me.”
But why not you? Why not us? This is the mindset that America Y’all originally stemmed from. At a time when both of us had full-time jobs, it was not uncommon for people to ask us about how we traveled so much.
The answer was always the same - you just go. The truth is that most anyone can see all the wonderful things this country has to offer you just have to have a can-do attitude. You don’t have to travel across the country to see something beautiful. Look at a map, find the closest thing to you that looks interesting, load up the car, and hit the road.
